Nancy drives in LA

One sunny afternoon, Nancy pulled to a stop at the end of a long exit ramp having just left the 101 FWY. Encountering what appeared to be a deserving soul who, with an analog cardboard communication device, requested donations for himself and  his family. Being a modern woman, Nancy carried nothing but her iPhone and a choice selection of plastic digital purchasing agents. Nowhere was a paper dollar bill to be found inside the car that day. A flush of inspiration came over her, and thus arose the seeds of “Nancy’s Roadside Offering Pack”.

What if, she thought to herself, I could simply roll down my window and hand this person a little backpack loaded up with helpful items and a bite or two to eat?

Nancy’s vision for a ready at hand “Roadside Offering Pack” is nearly a reality!
After extensive research at area “Dollar Stores” & “99 Cent Stores” backpacks have been procured and a list of items for inside has been compiled.

With your help, Nancy can purchase many of the items listed below and fill up those packs.

RAFFLE: In support of this project you are invited to donate directly or
buy tickets for a party night raffle and a chance to win a yummy bottle of Champagne at
Nancy & John’s annual Christmas Eve-ish Party (must be present to win.)
Raffle tickets are $10 each or 3 for $25. (cash or check only)
The goal is $500.
